• Dr. Jamuna Rajan, Associate Professor, Neuropsychology Unit, Dept. of Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS , Bangaluru, delivered lectures on Forensic Neuropsychology and Neuropsychological rehabilitation from 17th to 19th February 2014.
• Dr. K B Kumar, Professor and HoD of the Dept of Clinical Psychology, Sweekar Academy of Rehabilitation Sciences, Secunderabad was the resource person in the workshop on “ Behaviour Therapy” held from 18th to 22nd August, 2014.
• Dr. Dharav Shah, Consultant Psychiatrist, was the resource person in the workshop on “Ensuring an Addiction Free Society, Going Beyond Deaddiction” held on 4th November, 2014.
• Dr. Sonali De, Associate Professor, Calcutta University, was the resource person in the workshop on Qualitative Research Methodology held on 28th November, 2014.
• Dr. Jyotsna Agarwal, Assistant Professor, IIT, Patna, was invited as a guest speaker for delivering lecture on Indian Psychology on 29th November, 2014.
• The department conducted two RCI-sponsored In-service training and sensitization workshops for Teachers and Paramedical Professionals in November, 2015 and March, 2016.
• A three day workshop on “Psychodynamic Psychotherapy” by Dr. Jayanti Basu, Professor, Department of Applied Psychology, Calcutta University, Kolkata was organized from 11th to 13th July, 2016.

• A 3-day workshop was conducted under Continuous Rehabilitation Education (CRE), on the topic, “Therapeutic Approaches to Child and Adolescent Mental Health: Helping children with ASD, ADHD & LD”, from 28th -31st January 2018, which was attended by counsellors and clinical psychologists working in the North Eastern States. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Thomas Kishore, Associate Professor, Dept. of Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS, Bangalore. The workshop was accredited with CRE points by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi.
• As part of the World Mental Health Month observation, on the theme, Youth Mental Health in a Changing World, a series of programs/contests were organized by various departments. In keeping with the theme, a logo-designing contest was organized for trainees of the institute on 8th October by Department of Clinical Psychology, to develop a symbol representing youth dialogue about mental health, which was termed as Yuva Mann Meet.
• Dr. Jayanti Basu, gave an open lecture on “Relocating projective techniques within Psychology: Some new possibilities” on 23rd October, 2018 for trainees across all departments of the institute.
• A half-day workshop on self-care among mental health trainees was organized on 3rd November, 2018 as part of World Mental Health month, with the theme of Youth Mental Health promotion. The workshop was titled, ‘Finding the “I” in “me”: Self-care in everyday life’ and was facilitated by Dr. PallaviJha, Assistant Professor, Dept. of English & Foreign Languages, Tezpur University.
• A 2-day workshop was conducted under Continuous Rehabilitation Education (CRE), on the topic, “Tuning In: Being a Reflective Psychotherapist”, on 13th -14th November 2018, which was attended by counsellors and clinical psychologists working in the North Eastern States. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Poornima Bhola, Additional Professor, Dept. of Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS, Bangalore. The workshop was accredited with CRE points by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi.
• An invited guest lecture by Dr. Poornima Bhola, Additional Professor, Dept. of Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS, Bangalore, was organized on 15th November, 2018, on the topic “Cutting edge: Understanding non-suicidal self injury among adolescents and young adults”. It was attended by staff and students of all departments of the institute.
• A half-day workshop by Prof. Anna Madill, School of Psychology, Faculty of Medicine & Health, University of Leeds, U.K., was organized by Dept. of Clinical Psychology, on 21st January, 2019. The workshop was on a use of a specific qualitative method entitled, “Exploring Photo-led Interaction” and was attended by members across departments.
